Dear Team,
We understand that recent changes and processing delays in SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program)benefits across the U.S. may be creating challenges for some individuals and families who rely on this important support. We are offering three opportunities to receive support.
- Food pantry information is attached in this message.
- We are collecting food donations to distribute to team members in need. Food will be available from our corporate office starting next week. If you are in a place where you can contribute to our APW and Elite food pantry, please find the flyer attached to this email. Give what you can, take what you need.
- Request an advance on your wages for food assistance for yourself or dependents who you are responsible for. Click here to fill out our SNAP Benefits Wages Advance Request Form.
If you or minor dependents which you are responsible for are affected, please know that our company wants to help. Employees may request an advance on upcoming wages to assist with essential needs while SNAP benefits are being processed or adjusted. These requests are handled confidentially through Human Resources.
Please remember that any advance payments will be deducted from your future pay checks and each employee is financially responsible for the funds you receive. Requests may not exceed the amount you regularly receive during our regular pay period and is to be repaid over the next 3 checks.
We also encourage anyone experiencing food insecurity to reach out for local resource information or additional community support options—our HR team can connect you to programs in your area.
We appreciate all that you do each day to care for our patients and community, and we want to ensure you and your families have the support you need as well.
With gratitude,
Katie Naranjo
