Sugar-Free Chocolate Pie

2/3 cup Fructose (substituted for 1 cup sugar)
3 Tbsp. cocoa
3 Tbsp. flour
1 dash salt
1½ cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 egg yolks
1 pie crust

In a double boiler combine first 4 ingredients. Mix well. Combine milk, vanilla, and egg yolks and mix well. Pour into chocolate mixture and blend well. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until thick enough to spoon out into pie crust. Cool completely. Top with sugar-free whipped cream or make meringue by beating 3 egg whites and 1 tsp. vanilla until stiff peaks form. Spoon meringue over filling and bake at 350 degrees until golden brown.
