Pumpkin Bread

4 cups sugar

1 cup dates

1 tsp. soda

4 eggs

1 cup nuts

1 tsp. salt

1 cup oil

¾ cup water

1 tsp. allspice

1 can pumpkin

3 ½ cups flour

1 tsp. cinnamon

1 tsp. nutmeg

Beat together eggs, oil, pumpkin, and sugar. Sift dry ingredients together. Add alternately with water to egg mixture. Add nuts and dates. Bake in 4 coffee cans at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Grease and flour cans.
