½ pound ground pork
¼ pound shrimp, chopped
¼ cup dried Chinese mushrooms, chopped
½ cup water chestnuts, chopped
¼ cup spring onion, chopped
2 egg yolks
3 Tbsp. soy sauce
1 teaspoon MSG
3 dashes sesame oil
3 dashes salt and pepper
Sweet and sour sauce

Combine pork, shrimp, mushrooms, water chestnuts, spring onions, egg yolks, soy sauce, MSG, sesame oil, salt and pepper. Wrap into thin rolls in lumpia wrappers. Fry in deep fat. Cut into 1 ½” pieces and serve with sweet and sour sauce.

Sweet and Sour Sauce Ingredients:
2 Tbsp. cider vinegar
1 Tbsp. catsup
1 cup water
1 tsp. oyster sauce
6 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
½ tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. water to dissolve starch

Mix vinegar, water, sugar, and salt in saucepan. Add catsup and oyster sauce. Bring to boil. Dissolve cornstarch in water and add to boiling mixture. Stir continuously until thick.
