Firehouse Charlie’s Tex-Mex Soup

3 lbs. ground meat
2 Tbsp. black pepper
1 large bell pepper, chopped
2 Tbsp. chili powder
3 celery stalks, chopped
2 Tbsp. flour
3 green onions, chopped
3 Tbsp. taco seasoning
1 can tomato sauce
2 Tbsp. garlic, minced
2 Tbsp. hot sauce
6 carrots, cut up
2 Tbsp. salt
6 large potatoes, cut up

Brown ground meat in large pot and drain; add all the above ingredients to the stockpot and enough liquid (your choice of beef broth, chicken broth, or vegetable broth, or a mix of your own) to cover the ingredients. Bring to a boil and lower to a simmer, cover and cook until potatoes are tender.
