Adam’s 75th Anniversary Pound Cake

3 sticks butter, softened

3 cups sugar

1 tsp. vanilla extract

1 tsp. rum extract

1 tsp. almond extract

1 tsp. lemon extract

1 tsp. coconut extract

½ tsp. salt

½ tsp. baking powder (baking soda may be substituted if using buttermilk)

1 cup milk (buttermilk may be substituted)

5 eggs, well beatened, add one at a time

3 cups all-purpose flour

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs. Blend flour, salt, and baking powder. Alternately add milk and flour mixture. Stir in extracts. Pour into 10” Bundt pan that has been greased and floured. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour 15 minutes or until done.
